• For parking lots on-campus with a letter (M, C, E, etc..) You will need a parking pass to park. Purchase a parking pass (see link below) from UNM Parking & Transportation services. Purchase two 1-week passes for Parking Lot C.

Purchase Parking Passes Clicking Here.(Click on get permits at the bottom of the page)

Prices vary. Phone: 505-277-1938  Email: parktran@unm.edu

You will also be able to purchase your parking passes on the first day of classes outside of the anthropology building. Keep in mind, lines are long for parking passes on the first day. You may miss the first class session. There are parking spaces available around campus that use a meter and charge an hourly rate. You can park in any of those on the first day. We recommend purchasing a pass (Lot C) since it is more affordable.

Parking Lot C is in front of the Anthropology Bldg. #163 (Building #11 in the map) where sessions are held. See UNM Main campus map aka Central Campus.

There are also mutiple private parking lots along University Blvd. and on Central Ave. within a walking distance to the campus.

Do not park on residential strees on neighborhoods close to campus. They also need a permit to park on the street that the city provides to neighborhood residents only.
