Visitor Parking at the University of New Mexico

Welcome to the University of New Mexico! The UNM Parking and Transportation Services (PATS) offers an array of parking services for visitors who are on campus for short periods of time. With over 40,000 students, staff, and faculty coming to campus on a regular basis and only about 14,000 parking spaces, parking is in high demand.

Daily/Weekly Parking Permits are available for purchase at the Parking and Transportation Services Center. Daily Permits at $8 and Weekly Permits are $24. Daily and weekly permits will designate the lettered lot/zone you can park in – if you park in another lot/zone other than the one you have been assigned, you will be subject to a parking ticket. The lot closest to the classroom is C-Lot (see blue area below).

Hourly Parking is available at the Yale Structure  and at individual pay stations around campus at the rate of $1.00 per half-hour. All hourly parking is purchased using pay stations that accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Please see purple marked areas below.

Additional Notes: Visitors are not encouraged to park at any of the “Reserved” or “Loading Zone” areas as they will be subject to getting a parking ticket. The UNM Curanderismo Class is not responsible for any parking tickets given – all students and participants are responsible for making their own parking arrangements. Please note that there is no free parking available on campus.
