The 2018 Traditional Health Fair, sponsored by the UNM Women's Resource Center, Tonantzin Traditional Healing and RAICES, in conjunction with the Traditional Medicine without Borders: Curanderismo in the Southwest and Mexico course, will be held on UNM’s main campus, northwest of Zimmerman Library in Tall Tree Grove (Duck Pond), on Wednesday, July 25 from 12:30 -4 p.m.

The health fair is free and open to the public. It will feature well-known traditional healers, known as curanderos, from the Mexico City area, as well as local healers from around New Mexico.

Participants can receive treatments from a healer and observe how the curanderos practice their professional techniques and methods in a natural outdoor environment.
