Visitor and Hourly Parking at the University of New Mexico

Park. Pay. Go! Hourly Parking for $1.00 per half-hour, Available 24/7

Welcome to the University of New Mexico! We offer an array of parking services for visitors who are on campus for limited or short periods of time. From offering an extensive selection of hourly parking to daily, weekly, and monthly permits, we have a solution that will meet your needs. With over 40,000 students, staff, and faculty coming to campus a regular basis and only about 14,000 parking spaces, parking is in high demand. Our students, staff, and faculty typically purchase permits to park in specified parking zones. Our visitors and guests are encouraged to use our simple hourly Park. Pay. Go! services.

Hourly Parking is available at the Cornell Structure, the Yale Structure, and at individual pay stations around campus at the rate of $1.00 per half-hour. All hourly parking is purchased using pay stations that accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover or through the use of Parkmobile to pay remotely by cell phone. Cash payments are only accepted on the third floor of the Cornell Structure, (bills only, no change accepted). See our map illustrating where you can access hourly parking, indicated by the icon to the left. Click on the relevant tutorial below for more information.

Evening Flat Rate Parking is available in both the Yale and Cornell parking structures. The Evening Flat Rate is available for use 7 days a week, between 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. (midnight) and costs $5 per use. Please note that this offer is not valid during special events.

Electric Vehicle (EV) Charge Parking is available in the Cornell parking structure on the fourth (4th) level and also in the Yale parking structure on the first (1st) level. Use of the charging station parking space is reserved for EVs that are actively charging and is limited to 4-hour use/time limit. User pays for the parking space, not for the electricity (the regular $1 per 1/2 hr. pay station parking rate applies).
